PIPEFITTER

(ABERDEEN, PERMANENT CONTRACT, GET IN TOUCH TO FIND OUT ABOUT CLIENT AND RATES, UK RTW ONLY)

Responsible to:
Operations Manager / Workshop Foreman

Requirements:

1. Time served pipefitter
2. Relevant experience in the energy sector
3. Experience in the use of Automet dimensional control is preferred but not essential

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the preparation of materials to be used in pipefitting processes, duties of which include, but may not be restricted to:
2. Ability to interpret isometric drawings
3. Competently work all hand tools and machinery required
4. Relevant experience in the preparation of pipework materials in both carbon steel and exotic grades
5. Tack welding of fit-ups to a high standard
6. Dimensional inspection of spools on completion
7. Ensure Quality Assurance system is maintained by diligent upkeep of materials traceability
8. Ensure you work safely, and you are not endangering yourself, those around you or the environment
9. Ensuring client requirements are always met
