Job summary

Diamond is recruiting experienced Pipefitters for a public sector project in Newmarket CB8. The role involves installing inch 1/4 screwed barrel pipework and value sets for hot and cold water and heating systems on a new commercial building. The position runs until Christmas 2026, with overtime possible as work progresses.

Shifts are Mon-Thu 7:30am-4:30pm and Fri 3:30pm finish. Pay is £28.00 per hour, with on-site parking available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience on UK building sites as a Pipefitter
• Must provide 2 up-to-date references of previous work
• EL1 Security clearance beneficial but not essential to get onto site

Responsibilities

• Install all inch 1/4 screwed barrel pipework and value sets for H&C water and heating services on a new public sector building.
• Work on site from Mon-Thu 07:30–16:30 and Fri 15:30 finish with overtime available in coming weeks

Diamond is working with top tier companies who have a number of exciting commercial projects that require experienced Pipefitters in Newmarket CB8

Duration: Till Christmas 2026 (further works are expected to follow)

Times: Monday-Thursday 07:30am-04:30pm Friday 3:30pm Finish (overtime will be available in coming weeks)

Pay: £28.00 per hour

There is no nearby public transport so free parking is available on site.

Will be working on new public sector commercial building installing all inch 1/4 screwed barrel pipework and value sets for H&C water & heating services.

Requirements

• * 3+ years' experience working within UK building sites as an Pipefitter
• * Must provide 2 up to date references of previous work completed.
• ** If you do have EL1 Security clearance that would be beneficial but is not essential to get onto site as this can be arranged in coming weeks being empty shell anyway**
