Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is recruiting two experienced Pipe Fitters for a commercial project in Cambridge. You will work on a warehouse and offices site, performing stainless steel press-fit, drainage, and fan coil unit installations, with a 7:30–16:30 schedule.

This temporary role runs for up to four months, paid at £28.00 per hour CIS, with payroll handled by Quest Pay Solutions. Applicants should hold a CSCS card, IPAF, and bring their own tools; reading drawings and clear communication on

Qualifications

• Experience as a pipe fitter on commercial projects.
• CSCS card required on site.
• IPAF qualification required or relevant experience.
• Own tools preferred for immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Pipe fitting including stainless steel press-fit, drainage and fan coil units on site.
• Read drawings and follow site instructions.
• Work on a warehouse and offices project in Cambridge, with shifts 7:30–16:30.

Job description

My client is looking for TWO experienced Pipe Fitters to work on a commercial project in Cambridge. There is up to 4 months work here.

HOURLY RATE : £28.00 per hour - CIS

LOCATION : Cambridge (CB4)

DATE COMMENCING : Monday 5th October 2026

LENGTH OF CONTRACT : 4 months

HOURS OF WORK :

• 7:30 - 16:30
• Book 9 hours per day

JOB DESCRIPTION : Pipe Fitter

This is a warehouse and offices project in Cambridge. You will be doing Stainless Steel Press Fit, Drainage, Fan Coil units etc.

PERSON SPECIFICATION :

• Can communicate well with others already on site and follow instructions given
• Can read a drawing
• Can work the full shifts, as required
