FieldCore is seeking a motivated Pipe Fitter to join our team in UK on a project basis.

Let’s Talk about the Role

The Pipe Fitter operationalizes project pipeline facilities, defines strokes, and scales pipes. Responsibilities include preparing local facilities, performing pre-assembly and installation of pipes, testing operating pressure and fluid tightness, and maintaining equipment. Additional duties may be assigned to align with our organization’s core values.

How You Will Make a Difference:

• Set drawn pipes
• Read isometrics, exchange pipes, install gaskets, threaded controls, flanged, and welded connections
• Maintain pumps and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Practice electrical and oxyfuel welding
• Identify fluid pressure, check material validity, and condition materials on-site
• Cut tubes, tap pipes, fit connections, and seal pipes
• Interconnect networks, install pressure gauges, and test networks
• Replace defective equipment and identify materials and instruments for fault resolution
• Activate/deactivate delivery systems and perform other duties as assigned
• Travel extensively (internationally and domestically)
• Work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required

Special Role Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Professional courses in the area (200 hours or equivalent)
• Experience with power generation (gas/steam turbines) and auxiliary equipment is preferred
