Job summary

Qualifications

  • Relevant health & safety certifications (CSCS / CCNSG Safety Passport).

Location: North West

Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 infrastructure contractor delivering a high-profile civil engineering project across the North West. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Pipefitter to play a pivotal role in one of the UK’s most impactful pipeline programmes.

This is your chance to contribute to a nationally significant pipeline project that supports the UK’s energy transition. You’ll be working as part of a skilled, multidisciplinary team focused on innovation, safety and sustainable infrastructure.

You will oversee welding operations at the front end of the pipeline construction process, ensuring high standards of safety, quality and technical compliance across all pre-assembly and fit-up phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, and secure piping systems for industrial use
  • Interpret engineering drawings and project specifications
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, welders, and other trades
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry best practices

To be considered you must have

  • Recognised pipefitting qualifications (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Proven industrial pipework experience on large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant health & safety certifications (CSCS / CCNSG Safety Passport)
