Pipefitter

Location: Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pipefitter to join our close-knit team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with solvent weld PVC/ABS pipe systems, ranging from ½” up to 6”. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic and a team oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication and installation of solvent weld PVC/ABS pipe systems
• Reading and working from basic process drawings
• Supporting mechanical assembly and general workshop tasks
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Meeting deadlines and supporting colleagues as part of a small, efficient team

Required Experience & Skills:

• A minimum of 4 years proven experience working with solvent weld PVC/ABS pipe systems (½” to 6”)
• Ability to read and interpret process drawings
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of AutoCAD would be a benefit

Desirable Skills (not essential):

• Plastic welding or general welding experience
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Forklift licence
• Full, clean UK driving licence
