Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking experienced Pipefitters for a contract position in Didcot. You will join an expanding and skilled team, working a day shift from 07:30AM to 4:00PM on a 4-week minimum contract.

Role involves installing copper/stainless steel piping, radiators, and fan coil units, with emphasis on quality and efficiency. CIS pay is £26.50 per hour, with an equal opportunity employer commitment.

Qualifications

• Experience in pipefitting and mechanical plumbing installations.
• CSCS Blue/Gold Card verified on site.
• NVQ Level 2-3 in plumbing or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install copper/stainless steel up to 35mm, hang radiators and fan coil units.
• Install mechanical plumbing and heating components.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship at all times.
• Keep customer updated with progress and plans.
• Work efficiently, minimise non-productive time, and report issues.

This is position is working on a day shift, 07:30AM - 4:00PM

4-weeks minimum contract.

MAIN DUTIES

• Install copper/stainless steel up to 35mm, hanging radiators, and fan coil units.
• Installation of mechanical plumbing and heating components.
• To ensure that the quality of work always meets the highest possible standards.
• Keep the customer up to date with progress and plans.
• Undertake all work efficiently and cost effectively, minimising non-productive time wherever possible and reporting any difficulties encountered to the Resource Controller and /or Supervisor.

Pay:£26.50 Per hour (CIS)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• NVQ level 2-3 in plumbing or equivalent
