Job summary

Omnia Inclusive Employment Solutions Ltd is recruiting an experienced Pipe Welder for a state-of-the-art Deeside facility. You will weld carbon and stainless-steel pipes and spools, with stringent quality controls for highly regulated environments.

Role demands proficiency in TIG welding, a 6G certificate is preferred but a weld test will be provided. Offshore, nuclear, or aerospace experience is highly regarded, with weekly pay and overtime rates available.

Qualifications

• Proficient in TIG (GTAW) Pipe Welding.
• Welders with current/previous 6G welding certs on TIG (GTAW) are preferred but not essential as a weld test will be given.
• Experience in highly regulated industries (nuclear, oil & gas, aerospace) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Weld carbon and stainless-steel pipe and pipe spools at various stages of manufacture for nuclear-site installations.
• Quality checks performed via visual inspection and NDT where required; high workmanship standards are essential.

Job description

We are recruiting experienced Pipe Welders to join our team at a state-of-the-art, newly established manufacturing facility in Deeside.

This new site has been designed to support high-spec fabrication work for the nuclear energy sector, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

This is a long-term, permanent opportunity to work on precision fabrications for some of the most highly regulated environments in the UK.

Paying 24.83 per hour (PAYE) + Overtime paid at 1.4 and 1.8 (Paid weekly)

The Role:

The roles involves welding carbon and stainless-steel pipe and pipe spools at various stages of manufacture, destined for installation on an nuclear site.

All work is quality-checked through both visual and NDT inspections, so attention to detail and a high personal standard of workmanship are essential.

Key Requirements:

• Proficient in TIG (GTAW) Pipe Welding.
• Welders with current / previous 6G welding certs on TIG (GTAW)- either BS 4872, ASME IX or ISO 9606 is preferred but not essential as suitable candidates will be given a weld test.
• Experience is preferred working in highly regulated industries (e.g., nuclear, oil & gas, aerospace)

Weld Test:

6G Pipe weld test on carbon and stainless steel (TIG) on 2" diameter pipe.

Working Hours:

Monday-Thursday: 07:00-15:30 and Friday: 07:00-12:30
