PIPE WELDER / FITTER - NESTON (WIRRAL)
Location: Neston, Wirral (Chester area)
Rate:£23 per hour
Start: ASAP
Duration: Initial 12-week contract (Phase One) - Likely ongoing
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (possible overtime)

We're recruiting for an experienced Pipe Welder / Fitter to join a busy project at a large university site in Neston. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for stable, local contract work with a reputable contractor.

Role Overview:

This is a hands-on site role involving both pipe welding and fitting duties. You will be expected to weld but also assist with general pipefitting work, so flexibility is key. The ability to interpret drawings, install systems, and work safely and efficiently as part of a team is essential.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in both pipe welding and pipe fitting
  • CSCS card - essential
  • Manual Handling & Asbestos Awareness - preferred
  • Abrasive Wheels qualification - desirable
  • Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
  • Commitment to high standards of safety and workmanship

️ Duties May Include:

  • Welding of carbon/stainless steel pipework
