Job summary

Hill McGlynn Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Pipe Welder/Fabricator for their Gillingham workshop in Kent. The role focuses on MIG and Stick welding of pipework for mechanical plant rooms and building services installations.

The position is predominantly workshop-based, with occasional South East site visits, and requires a strong eye for detail and adherence to drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• Proven pipe welder with MIG and Stick welding experience.
• Experience fabricating pipework for mechanical plant rooms and building services.
• Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Weld pipework using MIG and Stick welding.
• Weld pipework 2–8 inches in diameter (majority 4 inches).
• Prepare, cut, fit and assemble pipework for welding.
