Job summary

Recruit4staff LTD is seeking a Pipe Welder for a specialist fabrication facility in Deeside. You will perform high-quality welding on stainless and carbon steel pipework, adhering to standards in a highly regulated engineering environment.

The role requires experience in regulated sectors such as Nuclear, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical, and holding a recognised welding and fabrication apprenticeship. Permanent contract with 37.5 hours/week and a competitive salary plus uncapped bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience in highly regulated engineering environments such as Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or food manufacturing.
• Experience welding pipe sizes 0.5" to 6".
• Recognised welding & fabrication apprenticeship or pipe welding apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality welding on stainless and carbon steel pipework.
• Work to the standards required within a highly regulated engineering environment to produce accurate welded pipework.

Job Details:

• Pay: £48,438 per annum (equivalent to £24.84 per hour)
• Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Thursday 07:00–15:30, Friday 07:00–12:30
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Uncapped bonus scheme

As a Pipe Welder, you will work within a specialist fabrication facility in Deeside, carrying out high-quality welding on stainless and carbon steel pipework. The Pipe Welder will work to the standards required within a highly regulated engineering environment, producing accurate and reliable welded pipework.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• The Pipe Welder must have previous experience working within Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Food Manufacturing or another highly regulated engineering environment.
• Experience working on pipe ranging from 0.5" - 6"
• Must hold a recognised apprenticeship within welding & fabrication or Pipe Welding.

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• CCNSG / Safety Passport would be advantageous.
