Welder Position at Leading Refuelling Solutions Company

Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of refuelling solutions and systems for industries such as Marine, Aviation, and Defence. They are seeking an experienced Welder to join their established team in Stroud.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Welding and Fabrication, be highly proficient in TIG Welding, able to interpret Engineering drawings, and familiar with ASME IX standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Producing finished weld runs on pre-fabricated assemblies.
2. Carrying out specialist welding on stainless steel and aluminium structures, pipework, and components.
3. Welding fabricated box and tubular structures in line with BS9606 - 1&2.
4. Performing general MIG welding on mild steel structures.
5. General fabrication and fettling work.
6. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
7. Welding with and without JIG and fixture arrangements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a Welder/Fabricator.
• Qualified to ASME IX standards.
• Experienced in TIG Welding.
• Based within a commutable distance of Stroud.

Salary & Benefits:

• Hourly rate: £16.00 - £18.00
• Working hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30, Friday 07:30 - 14:00
• 31 days holiday including bank holidays
• Two company bonus schemes
• Pension scheme
