Partner with the best

Own the pipe system design and engage with customers on pre-contract requirements. Provide technical support throughout all stages of the project tendering process, from early concept to full tender proposal. Act as a technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating engineering processes and performing detailed system designs and calculations.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, with experience or knowledge in designing and implementing flexible pipe systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities are essential.

As a Pipe Systems Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Working on bids and proposals for flexible pipe projects, analyzing technical specifications, and developing cost-effective solutions.
  • Developing pipe system designs to customer specifications using sound engineering practices.
  • Providing technical support throughout all project tendering stages.
  • Performing engineering calculations to develop and verify pipe design and associated components.
  • Facilitating engineering outputs from other departments and suppliers.
  • Driving technical solutions and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Communicating technical proposals to stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with sales, engineering, and project management teams to create compelling proposals.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Contributing to company growth by winning new business and expanding project portfolios.
  • Participating in software, process, and tool improvements.

To succeed, you should:

  • Have relevant technical qualifications from an accredited university or college.
  • Have experience in engineering or technology roles.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Be a team player and proactive problem solver.
  • Have the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Possess effective problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and spreadsheet automation is a plus.
