Qualifications

Job description

We are currently looking for experienced Pipefitters to work for one of our clients in Burton on Trent

The client is a market-leading manufacturer of specialist equipment to a range of industry sectors including heavy engineering and aerospace.

Due to the specialist nature of the products the work is both interesting and varied and will involve the fabrication and installation of pipework on large special purpose machinery. Working from isometric drawings, from base materials through to finished product the main duties of this pipefitting role will include the following:-

• Marking out
• Preparation
• Cutting
• Bending
• Assembly
• Thread cutting

The work will mostly involve the fabrication and installation of carbon steel and possibly some copper pipe work.

The ideal candidates must be experienced Pipefitters used to working with a range of different sizes and materials of pipework. The ability to read and understand isometric diagrams is essential. Previous experience of using both Rems and Rigid Machines is also desirable
