Job summary

TipTopJob in Birmingham is seeking a Pipe Fitter (Plumber / Mechanical) to install biomass boilers on commercial sites across the UK. The role offers a base salary of GBP 32,000 to 34,000 with regular overtime opportunities (OTE circa GBP 40,000), extra holidays and benefits.

You will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours, with staying away on weeknights as required. Experience in commercial pipe fitting or plumbing is preferred, but formal qualifications are not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial pipe fitting / plumber role.
• Knowledge of tools, systems, and installation techniques for commercial installations.
• Long-term training and support to obtain relevant qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Install biomass boilers at client sites, adhering to designs and documenting deviations.
• Undertake snagging lists.
• Trouble shoot faults and repairs where required.
• Supervise boiler builds.
• Conduct risk assessments.
• Work at client sites across the UK with frequent week-long stays.

A GBP 32,000 to A GBP 34,000 Base Salary + Regular Overtime Opportunities Available (OTE Circa A GBP 40,000) + Increasing Holidays (21 Days up to Additional 5) + Birthday Off + Bank Holidays + Overnight Expenses + Ongoing Training

Monday to Friday 40 Hours per Week : 08:30 to 17:00 (Flexibility Required)

Pipe Fitter required for an industry leading supplier of renewable energy technology. You will be joining a friendly team in a field:based role offering full training, regular overtime opportunities and no call out requirements.

This role would suit candidates with commercial pipe fitting experience and whilst desirable, qualifications are not essential for this role. Long term, the company are willing to support the successful candidate to obtain relevant qualifications.

Typically working in pairs, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out commercial installations of biomass boilers. The company work at client sites throughout the UK and so this role will require regular stay away during the week. The company offer an overnight allowance to cover expenses.

The Pipe Fitter Role
