Qualifications

The Role

• Ensure the performance of pipe fitting activities following Foreman instructions and in accordance with safety and quality standards

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pipe fitting activities in accordance with safety and quality requirements
• Follow daily instructions given by Foreman
• Perform pipe cutting, bevelling and fitting activities, piping prefabrication, installation and assembly activities
• Ensure pipe fitting activities are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications
• Verify that equipment, tools, and materials are in good and safe operating conditions and report any anomalies to the supervisor
• Ensure coordination with adjacent works to minimize coactivity and eliminate unsafe conditions
• Follow the permit-to-work procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and order at the work site

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 8 years of experience in pipe fitting
• Experience with welding applications for 3-5 years and above
• Knowledge of Manual SMAW/FCAW welding processes
• Knowledge of cutting and trimming applications (cold and hot cutting)
• Knowledge of oxyacetylene and plasma cutting applications
• Knowledge of milling, turning, and lathe machine applications
• Knowledge of drilling applications
• Experience with isometric drawings, bevel designs, fittings, torquering, steel fabrication and erection, lifting and rigging operations, installation, and assembly
• Experience working with materials such as carbon steel flowline, clad, Inconel 625/825, stainless steel 314L/316L
• Proven experience on pipeline projects both onshore and offshore
• Experience in heavy fabrication yards, refineries, power plants, shipyards, offshore jacket installation, wind farm installation, deck, conductors, piling, boat landing installation
