Job description

Due to expansion and growth, permanent positions have arisen for Pipe Fitter x2. Please note that the main base for this role will be Northumberland.

Pay Rates: £20.01ph - £28.01 ot1 - £36.01 ot2 (PAYE)

Job Description

• Must be able to work independently or with a team.
• Able to carry out all pipefitting duties; welding to a coded standard is advantageous.
• Work mainly with thin wall metric and hygienic stainless, also schedule stainless and carbon.
• Workshop & site work at various locations including distilleries, breweries, waste-to-energy plants, and food processing facilities.
• Overtime and weekend work required.

Primary Objectives

• Cutting, prepping, and tacking carbon and stainless steel, including dairy pipe.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Time-served pipe fitter with a conscientious approach to ensure high standards and quality. Ability to work well in a team, with honesty, integrity, and accountability.

Qualifications and Experience

Time-served or qualified preferred, but not essential. At least 4 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge of welding and fabrication is an advantage, including operation of machinery and workshop power tools.
