This 12-month contract offers competitive rates for both local candidates and those willing to commute. It's a fantastic opportunity to be part of a cutting-edge project shaping the future of naval engineering.

As a Pipefitter, you'll play a vital role within a specialist team, working on the latest generation of submarines, contributing to either the Astute or Dreadnought projects.

What will I be doing?

As a skilled Pipefitter, you'll shape essential piping and plumbing systems and make a real impact.

To thrive in this role, you'll need experience in:

• Fabrication and installation of pipe systems and components, conducted in accordance with quality standards & regulatory requirements.
• Manufacturing to isometrics pipes/installing pipelines.
• General pipefitting/fabrication - Oil and Gas.
• Working safely, complying with health and safety and other relevant regulations & guidelines.
• Following instructions, drawings, and other quality standards/specifications.

Pay rates

BAE Systems offers a range of pay rates depending on your shift allocation and travel distance to the Barrow site. Contact our team to learn more about available shift and payment options.

For Umbrella Contractors living within 39 miles of the Barrow base, rates are:

• 3 on 4 off - £31.07
• Weekday and Saturday Overtime - £37.07

For Umbrella Contractors living more than 39 miles away, rates are:

• 3 on 4 off - £41.93
• Weekday and Saturday Overtime - £37.34
