Job summary

Adler and Allan Group is seeking a Pipe Fabricator - Welder to operate from our Rotherham facility and visit client sites across the UK. The role involves high-standard fabrications, welding and on-site maintenance for petrochemical sites and airports.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, complete documentation, and support workshop activities with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance. A recognised apprenticeship and TIG/MMA experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Hazardous Area Training completed or in progress.
• Site safety passport advantageous.
• Recognised apprenticeship or related qualification.
• TIG and MMA welding experience essential.
• LOLER equipment knowledge beneficial.
• Independent safety passport preferred.
• Experience in a similar engineering environment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide site service and maintenance at petrochemical sites and airports across the UK.
• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance; brief line manager on task progress.
• Address issues and implement positive solutions for clients.
• Complete site documentation (permits, method statements, risk assessments).
• Ensure documents are complete and submitted on time.
• Support and contribute to workshop activities, including testing.
• Perform other duties as required by line manager.

Pipe Fabricator - Welder
Rotherham – With travel to Sites
Permanent, full-time

This position will undertake all duties associated with that of Pipe fabricator - welder, operating out of the Company’s facility in Rotherham as well as clients’ sites, satisfying the delivery of service to all customers and on specific projects. In addition, the pipe fabricator will use technical skills and knowledge to satisfy client demand and deliver solutions to a high standard.

More about the role:

• Provide site service and maintenance at petrochemical sites and airports throughout the UK.
• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance works, ensuring line manager is fully briefed regarding task progress.
• Address issues that arise and provide positive solution and implement to provide best service to the client.
• Complete site documentation accurately and in a timely manner. This will include permit requests, method statements & risk assessments.
• Ensure all works documentation is fully completed and correct and submitted in a timely manner and within any specified deadlines.
• Support and contribution to workshop activities, including build and functional testing.
• Any other duties for which the pipe fabricator is experienced and/or qualified and capable of undertaking that will add value and at the request of line manager.

Qualifications

About you:

• Possession and demonstratable appropriate Hazardous Area Training.
• Site safety passport an advantage.
• Possession of relative qualifications and/or a recognised apprenticeship.
• TIG and MMA experience essential.
• Use of various LOLLER Equipment (Cranes / Fork Lift) advantageous.
• Established Safety Behaviours – PPE / Safe working practices.
• Rigging / Slinging an advantage.
• Forklift licence / experience preferable.
• Independent Safety Passport preferred.
• Experience working in a similar Engineering environment preferred.
