Job summary

Adler and Allan Group in Rotherham is seeking a skilled coded welder to operate from our main facility and at client sites, delivering high-standard fabrication and welding services. You will read and interpret drawings, weld stainless steel pipework using TIG, and ensure compliance with safety and CE documentation while supporting project delivery through travel to sites.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of welding experience, TIG/MMA skills, and a valid safety passport, with the ability to work

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years welding experience; coded welder.
• Weld to WPS Standards.
• TIG and MMA experience essential.
• Forklift licence / experience preferable.
• Independent Safety Passport preferred.
• Experience in an engineering environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coded welder operating at Adler and Allan Group facility and client sites.
• Weld stainless steel pipework using TIG.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and assemble to drawing specifications.
• Ensure fabrication documentation complies with CE standards.
• Use PPE and maintain hot work safety practices.
• Travel to client sites as required by project needs.

Coded Welder
Rotherham – With Travel to Sites
Permanent, full-time

This position will undertake all duties associated with that of Welder, operating out of the Company’s facility in Rotherham as well as clients’ sites, satisfying the delivery of service to all customers and on specific projects. In addition, the coded welder will use technical skills and knowledge to satisfy client demand and deliver solutions to a high standard.

More about the role:

• Coded welder – Adherence to all HSE Hot Work Safety Systems.
• Stainless steel pipework using TIG.
• Read and understand technical design drawing specification.
• Produce mechanical assembly to drawings specification.
• Safe use of weld & power / hand equipment (to include grinder).
• Adherence / control / completion of fabrication documentation to CE standard.
• Correct use of All PPE - Weld fume & RPE.
• Ability to consistently weld and fabricate whilst conforming to all hot work safety regulations.
• Any other duties for which the coded welder is experienced and/or qualified and capable of undertaking that will add value and at the request of line manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ welding experience/ Previous coded welder
• Weld to WPS Standards
• TIG and MMA experience essential
• Use of various LOLLER Equipment (Cranes / Fork Lift) advantageous
• Established Safety Behaviours – PPE / Safe working practices
• Rigging / Slinging an advantage
• Forklift licence / experience preferable
• Independent Safety Passport preferred
• Experience working in a similar Engineering environment preferred
