Role Overview

As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor at Maximus, you'll utilize your clinical expertise to assess how disabilities or health conditions impact daily life. You will handle complex cases involving chronic pain, neurological, physical, and mental health conditions. The role offers both challenges and rewards, supported by tailored training and ongoing mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments via telephone, video, or face-to-face to evaluate how health conditions affect daily living
• Produce reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to determine benefit eligibility
• Enhance your clinical knowledge with regular feedback and supervision

Requirements

• Valid HCPC registration number
• Minimum 1 year of broad post-registration experience (within or outside NHS)
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Proficiency in computer software for report writing
