Job summary

Donard Recruitment Ltd is hiring for hybrid roles as Functional Specialist, involving nurses and allied professionals to perform PIP assessments for the Government's disability allowance.

You will manage end-to-end caseloads, including face-to-face and virtual assessments, with time for CPD and evidence review. Requires 1+ year post-qualification experience and valid NMC/HCPC registration.

Qualifications

• Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.
• 1+ years post qualification experience.
• Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
• Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face and virtual assessments end to end.
• Manage caseloads with autonomy from initial contact to final report.
• Assess health conditions and disabilities across physical, sensory, mental and cognitive domains.
• Contribute to breaks, CPD, audits and team meetings.
