Job Description:

Wayland Farms Ltd are a pig production company passionate about breeding and nurturing the best pigs in the country. We are part of Cranswick Plc., one of the largest food producers in Britain.

We are currently looking for a part-time Stockperson in the Great Massingham Area near Kings Lynn, Swaffham, Fakenham.

Job responsibilities of Pig Stockperson:

  • Actively involved with all areas of the pig rearing cycle
  • Based on our Breeding Unit
  • Daily tasks include feeding, moving, and handling pigs
  • Maintain the condition and appearance of the farming unit

What you will need:

  • Prioritize and adhere to animal welfare standards
  • Be self-motivated, flexible, and a great team player
  • Reliable with good time-keeping skills, as farms operate in small teams of 3-5 people
  • Experience with livestock or agricultural background
  • Own transport to reach rural farm locations

Pay and benefits:

  • Salary – £14.12 per hour
  • Shift pattern: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, totaling 24 hours per week
  • Pension: 3% employer contributions / 5% employee contributions
