Job summary

Samworth Brothers in Leicester is seeking a hands-on production operative to support our pie production line. You will hand weigh toppings, pour jelly to specification and move trays through the line, ensuring smooth, accurate operations.

Qualifications

Tasks involve weighing toppings and loading trays onto production lines.
Operate basic line equipment to move trays and products along the line.
Ensure pies meet specifications during processing.

Responsibilities

Be able to hand weigh toppings onto pies and pour jelly in accordance with specification. Once complete, be able to move the tray back into the rack.
Responsible for moving loaded trays with product off racks, placing them in the basket.
Remove empty trays from the conveyer and feed sideways into the tray wash.
Feed wire trays into the JOM machine and the jellied pies are transferred onto the trays. Take a full tray of pies off the belt, and transfer onto a dolly, stack the trays when full transfer to a chiller.
