Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Ward Manager for Ashurst Ward (PICU) to lead high-quality nursing care and clinical leadership in an inpatient setting. You will role-model best practice, supervise the team and drive service improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have PICU experience, leadership in inpatient settings, and familiarity with Healthroster; strong communication and risk management skills are essential.

Formación

• Experience of nursing within a PICU setting.
• Experience in deputy ward manager/team leader role.
• Experience using Healthroster.

Responsabilidades

• Provide, maintain and develop nursing care to optimum standard within resources.
• Offer role modelling, supervision and education to the nursing team.
• Review/respond to PICU referrals and govern the service via auditing.
• Participate in the duty manager rota with clinical support and advice.
• Maintain 24-hour managerial responsibility for the ward.
• Lead joint working with statutory/voluntary agencies for responsive service delivery.
• Manage day-to-day flow of Health Based Place Of Safety.
