Picking Station Operator - Days - Temp to Perm

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am–2pm (40 hours per week) Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour

This role involves working on a fast‑paced picking line within a heavy industrial environment, ensuring materials are sorted, processed and handled safely and efficiently. Candidates must have a Full UK Driving Licence and their own transport.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, separating and removing non‑conforming materials, maintaining a clean and safe working area, and supporting continuous production across the site. You must be comfortable working in a steelworks or similar industrial setting, following strict safety procedures and wearing the required PPE at all times.

A strong work ethic, good attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. Reliability and consistent timekeeping are key requirements due to the nature of the shift pattern and operational demands.
