Job summary

CSS Contracts Support Services Ltd in Coggeshall, Essex, is recruiting Picking & Packing Operatives for immediate start on an ongoing basis. You will work in a busy warehouse environment, performing assembly, picking, packing, labeling and despatch recording across shifts.

The role is full-time and on-site, with early and late shifts. Applicants should have warehouse experience, attention to detail, basic numeracy and solid English communication. Transport to site is advised if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy warehouse picking, packing and dispatch.
• Ability to pick and pack small item units quickly.
• Familiarity with assembling small unit packaging at speed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble packaging for items of varying sizes.
• Pick stock items against customer orders.
• Pack items into correct packaging materials.
• Label and record items for despatch.

Job description

CSS are currently recruiting for a number of additional Picking & Packing Operatives to join our busy logistics industry client immediatelyon an ongoing basis, located in Coggeshall, Essex.

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday

• 7am – 3:30pm

• 6am – 2pm

• 2pm – 10pm

• 10pm – 6am

Duties Include

• Assembling packaging of various sizes

• Picking stock items against an order

• Packing those items into the correct packaging

• Labelling and recording items for despatch

Previous Experience Required

• Busy warehouse pick, pack and dispatch

• Pick and pack small item units

• Assembly of small unit packaging at speed

Essential Attributes

• Attention to detail

• Written and spoken English understanding

• Numerical ability at basic level

You must be able to arrive at the site location in time for your shift, please explore transport links if you do not have your transport.

Immediate start available. This is ongoing work on a full-time basis until the end of the year at the earliest. Genuine temp to perm opportunities for the right candidates with previous warehouse, pick & pack experience.

Pay Rate

• £12.76 per hour

• Premium for night shift
