Picker / Warehouse Operative (THE HUB)

Based just on the outskirts of Walton-on-Trent, we have an incredible production kitchen which plays an integral role in ensuring the smooth running of our 7 pubs across the Midlands. The hub is an incredibly busy operation, covering all areas of food preparation process, including fresh produce, raw & cooked meats, and our delicious desserts. And we need a Warehouse Operative / Picker to help with the production of our fantastic food products from the HUB, for our individual sites.

Who are Chilled Pubs?

It all started back in 2007 when Loren agreed to Richards crazy dream, and they together purchased the Bulls Head in Repton. Fast forward 17 years and they have a thriving pub business. With 7 gorgeous sites, over 500 employees, an industry leading food & drink menu and just to be a bit different, 7 mascot alpacas.

What the role entails?

• Picking and packing pubs orders using a tablet
• Unloading large deliveries and pallets
• General cleaning duties in and outside the warehouse
• Heavy lifting will be required as you will be loading and unloading the vans with a mixture of fresh food, bottled drinks, and consumables.

Who are we looking for?

• Somebody who naturally aligns with our values, which are to be warm & friendly and genuinely ’guest obsessed’.
• An experienced warehouse operative, who is self-motivated, organised, and punctual.
• Somebody who shares our passion for Chilled Pubs and is genuinely excited to be part of our team.
• You will need to hold a UK driving licence (maximum of 6 points on it with NO DR10- Drink Driving)
• Somebody with a flexible approach to work, this isn’t a typical 9-5 role, and some early start times and weekend work will be required.
