Job summary

Talented People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operative position in Horley. The role focuses on receiving, picking, packing and dispatching stock accurately and safely within a busy warehouse.

The shift runs 2:00pm–11:30pm with a 40-minute break, and involves using handheld scanners, meeting daily targets and working as part of a supportive team to ensure smooth stock flow.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries.

• Pick customer orders accurately.
• Pack orders safely and correctly.
• Prepare orders for dispatch and collection.
• Use handheld scanners and warehouse equipment.
• Handle heavy and awkward items safely.
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
• Follow Health & Safety and PPE requirements.
• Work with the wider warehouse team to resolve stock and order issues.

Salary: £30,952 + 15% shift allowance after 6:00pm (approx. £2,400 per year)
