Within this role, you will have the opportunity as a permanent team member to join our delivery team.

You will join the business as a Van driver with duties including picking for the delivery team, supporting the delivery operation in achieving first-class customer service.

You will need a full driving license to be considered for this role.

Our drivers are the heart of our business, ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time with excellent service.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate picking and dispatch of goods using a handheld terminal, and informing the manager of any discrepancies.
• Checking quality, shelf life, and ensuring packaging is robust for delivery.
• Providing high standards of customer service by processing deliveries efficiently and meeting targets.
• Delivering goods to customers and providing first-class service.
• Being polite with delivery staff and handling queries and complaints appropriately, referring complex issues to supervisors.
• Loading stock into the vehicle at the branch and unloading at customer premises, ensuring paperwork is completed accurately.
