Job Title: Van Driver

About the role

Within this role, you will have the opportunity as a permanent team member to join our delivery team. You will be responsible for a mix of duties, including picking for the delivery team and supporting the delivery operation to achieve first-class customer service. A full driving license is required to be considered for this role. Our drivers are vital to our business, ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking and dispatching goods using a handheld terminal, and informing the manager of any discrepancies.
• Checking quality, shelf life, and ensuring packaging is robust for delivery.
• Providing high standards of customer service by processing deliveries efficiently and meeting targets.
• Delivering goods to customers and providing first-class service.
• Polite interactions with delivery staff and handling queries or complaints appropriately, referring complex issues to management.
• Loading stock into the vehicle and unloading at customer premises, ensuring paperwork is completed accurately.
