A leading company in the food and drink wholesaling sector is seeking Van Drivers to join its delivery team. The role involves picking for the delivery operation, ensuring excellent customer service, and efficient processing of deliveries. Candidates need to hold a valid driving license and possess qualities such as punctuality and a can-do attitude.
Overtime opportunities are also available.
Within this role, you will have the opportunity as a permanent team member to join our delivery team.
You will join the business as a Van Driver with a mix of duties, including picking for the delivery team, which involves supporting the delivery operation in achieving first-class customer service.
You need a full driving license to be considered for this role.
Our drivers are the heart of our business, playing a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time with excellent service.
Responsibilities include the accurate picking and dispatch of goods using a handheld terminal, and advising the manager of any discrepancies.
Checking quality, shelf life, and ensuring packaging is robust for delivery.
Providing high standards of customer service by processing deliveries efficiently and meeting targets.
Delivering first-class service to our customers.
Being polite with delivery staff and responding appropriately to queries and complaints, referring complex issues to the appropriate person.
Loading stock into the vehicle at the branch and unloading at customer premises, ensuring paperwork is completed accurately.
Key qualities include a can-do attitude, a passion for customer service, willingness to go the extra mile, punctuality, and proper presentation.
Full driving license required.
