A leading food wholesaler in the UK seeks a dedicated individual for customer service and stock management roles. Responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction through various tasks like stock management, serving on tills, and managing deliveries, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
You will be expected to ensure our customers’ needs are exceeded at all times while working in various areas of the store, so no two days will be the same. Whether it’s filling shelves, serving on the tills, managing stock levels, or picking deliveries, every task matters in providing quick and efficient service to our customers.
We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, passionate about delivering excellent customer service, and willing to go the extra mile for our customers.
You will be responsible for the accurate picking and dispatch of goods using a handheld terminal, and for informing the Manager of any discrepancies.
Your duties will include checking quality, shelf life, and ensuring packaging is robust for delivery, alongside processing deliveries efficiently to meet targets.
Politeness when dealing with delivery staff and responding appropriately to queries and complaints are essential, with complex issues referred to someone who can assist.
A proactive attitude, comfort with meeting pick rate targets, and punctuality in appearance and attendance are required. You should also be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the role.
