Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Photonics, Optoelectronics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with PIC testing and optical/electrical characterization.
• Familiarity with laboratory measurement equipment and automated test systems.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar tools is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute PIC test and characterization plans.
• Perform optical and electrical measurements on photonic devices and circuits.
• Develop automated test setups and measurement procedures.
• Analyse test data and identify performance trends and failure mechanisms.
• Support wafer-level and packaged-device testing.
• Work closely with design and process teams to improve device performance and yield.
