Job summary

Bradfield College is seeking an outstanding piano teacher to join its Music Department in a visiting capacity (~6 hours/week). You will teach pupils aged 13–18 of varying abilities, inspiring recreational players and those preparing for examinations, diplomas and conservatoire auditions.

You will deliver engaging lessons, support college performances and collaborate with specialist music teachers to enhance the wider music programme. A safeguarding check will be required.

Qualifications

• Accomplished pianist with strong teaching experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons.
• Enthusiastic, organised and committed to helping every pupil fulfil their musical potential.
• Willingness to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured piano lessons to pupils of varying abilities and aspirations.
• Support performances and encourage pupils to participate in the wider College music programme.
• Work closely with the collaborative team of specialist music teachers.
