Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in Billingham is looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to oversee the AVEVA PI data historian ecosystem. You will play a critical role in integrating legacy systems and ensuring near real-time data availability for improved operational insights.

The ideal candidate should have over 7 years in the Life Sciences industry and deep expertise in configuring AVEVA PI systems, with strong knowledge of DCS/PLC environments. The role offers a competitive salary along with 35 days of leave and an annual incentive plan.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a front-line delivery role in the Life Sciences industry.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with AVEVA PI Historian systems.
• Experience in managing software in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the PI System Administrator/SME and ensure system reliability.
• Manage system maintenance in compliance with GMP and GAMP standards.
• Develop data acquisition strategies and enhance data usability.
