Job summary

RPC is seeking an Associate for its Professional & Financial Risks team in Bristol. The role involves defending liability claims across professionals and advising insurers on coverage issues.

You will work with partners and lawyers in a growing team, handling matters for solicitors, brokers, accountants and advisers. You will manage a caseload, deliver timely outputs, and contribute to service improvements while maintaining client-focused service levels.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years PQE or equivalent
• Strong grounding in litigation; insurance experience desirable
• Ability to deliver legal and commercial solutions for clients
• Committed to business development to grow the practice
• Excellent communication and client-service focus

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Professional Indemnity claims with coverage issues
• Deliver high-quality, timely output to clients and maintain SLAs
• Contribute to service/process improvements within the team
• Demonstrate firm values and client-centric approach
• Capture and report management information for clients
