Job summary

Southern Water is seeking a PI Application Specialist to join the OT function and support the Aspire Product Team in developing AVEVA PI solutions. The role focuses on Asset Framework, PI Analytics and data-driven insights for environmental and regulatory needs.

You will work in a hybrid setup between Durrington/Falmer, with travel to sites as required and some homeworking. 37 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with a salary up to £58,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering, developing or supporting AVEVA PI / OSIsoft PI, including PI Data Archive and AF.
• Strong experience building within PI AF and working with PI Analytics, calculations, tags, Event Frames, interfaces or connectors.
• Experience with operational data systems and strong troubleshooting capability.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise AVEVA PI solutions, focusing on PI AF, PI Analytics, calculations, Event Frames and asset hierarchies.
• Collaborate with the Aspire Product Team to translate business needs into technical solutions and integrations.
• Contribute to Agile delivery across discovery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing and deployment.
• Improve data quality, accessibility and reliability for spill verification and reporting.
• Build relationships across OT, Rivers and Seas, Digital and operational teams to shape technical roadmaps.
