Physiotherapy Technician
Location: Rivers Hospital, Ramsay Health Care UK
Contract Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week)
About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapy Technician to join our friendly and professional physiotherapy team at Rivers Hospital. In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services, working closely under the supervision of qualified physiotherapists.

You will be an essential team member, helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and supporting both clinical and administrative aspects of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake specific delegated support work to aid patient rehabilitation and discharge, as assigned by qualified physiotherapists.
  • Manage a delegated caseload, accepting patients referred by the physiotherapist and delivering treatment under supervision.
  • Carry out treatments in line with prescribed protocols, monitoring progress and making minor alterations within your scope of practice and guidance.
  • Maintain clear, accurate records of interventions and communicate effectively with the wider clinical team.
  • Assist with non-clinical, patient-centered administrative duties such as appointment scheduling, documentation, and maintaining the therapy environment.
