Job description
Overview

There is an exciting upcoming job opportunity within Physiotherapy for a Band 4 Physiotherapy Technical Instructor. We are looking for motivated, caring individuals to work within our highly skilled and dynamic Physiotherapy team to deliver a high quality service to patients.

Responsibilities
  • As a technical instructor in the acute respiratory team, you will be based primarily on the acute respiratory ward.
  • You will be responsible for independent assessment of patients with mobility needs and work within our competency framework to provide mobility aids, treatment plans and timely discharge planning as part of the multidisciplinary team.
  • To independently lead assessments, rehabilitations and facilitate discharges in a timely manner.
  • To assist and provide individual treatment programmes as prescribed by a therapist.
  • To work with indirect supervision, reporting back patient progress and informing therapists of any problems.
  • Assist in the case management, general administration and equipment systems management within the therapy service.
