As a Physiotherapy Services Manager at our St Bartholomew's Hospital (Barts), you will need a BSc or equivalent in Physiotherapy, registration with the CSP and HCPC, and evidence of relevant training and ongoing CPD. A strong leadership background and experience managing a clinical service are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a clinical caseload, including assessments and treatments for inpatients, outpatients, and MSK patients.
• Demonstrate sound clinical reasoning skills in complex scenarios to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Manage and develop your team according to the Nuffield Health performance framework, acting as a role model through leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
• Advocate for the physiotherapy department and engage staff to deliver organizational strategies.
• Provide clinical support to peers and staff across therapies and cardiac rehabilitation, ensuring access to training, expertise, and performance reviews.
• Lead recruitment for your department, including administrative staff and junior to consultant level physiotherapists.

About Nuffield Health Barts Hospital:

Located next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital, our flagship center offers cardiac services, surgical and medical services including orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynecology, and urology. The hospital has 55 beds, including 7 intensive care beds, advanced digital operating theatres, consultation rooms, and diagnostic facilities such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography, and X-ray.
