We have a vacancy for a Healthcare Support Worker in the respiratory physiotherapy team. Working within a dynamic team, you will collaborate with physiotherapists in assessing and treating various patient groups. You will also independently assess patients’ mobility, function, and ability to perform activities of daily living. You will provide exercise programmes and facilitate discharge plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
The Respiratory team covers wards including critical care, respiratory, post-surgical, and medical units, offering excellent variety and opportunities to work in early rehabilitation of complex patients with significant medical and surgical needs. As part of a multidisciplinary team—including medical staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and healthcare support workers—you will experience collaborative and progressive working in a fast-paced environment.
