Job overview
We are currently seeking to recruit a Physiotherapy Support Worker within the Community Paediatric Therapies Service. This is an integrated therapy service including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, therapy support workers and administrative staff. The Paediatric Physiotherapy service supports babies, children and young people across the South Tees region. The service is based in the community at West Acklam Centre.
We looking for a dynamic person who is interested and motivated to join our established team of Paediatric Physiotherapists and therapy support workers. The post holder will work with babies, children and young people in a variety of settings including home, nursery/school and clinic settings. Previous experience of working with babies and children, young people and/or working within health settings will be helpful, although training will be given.
The Paediatric Physiotherapy Service is a well-established, progressive and dynamic service, which continues to develop within the Trust. The team is friendly and supportive. Mentorship for this role will be available from the clinical staff.
