An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the MSK Physiotherapy Team for Inverness, Mid Ross and East Ross.
We are looking for a dynamic, self motivated and driven individual to join our team.
The successful candidate will work within the MSK Physiotherapy team, based at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Dingwall. The post-holder will carry out prescribed rehabilitation programmes within an out-patient setting.
Rehabilitation will be provided to patients referred from to the service from First Contact Physiotherapists, GPs, the Orthopaedics service, Rheumatology amongst others.
Duties include carrying out administration tasks, distributing and cleaning equipment, maintaining the physiotherapy rehabilitation space (gym), helping to provide rehabilitation classes (including hydrotherapy at the Puffin Pool).
Applicants must have good communication skills, be computer literate and have the ability to work independently and indirect supervision. A background in healthcare is desirable.
The MSK physiotherapy team works closely with other professionals groups including Occupational Therapist, nursing staff, First Contact Physiotherapist, Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners, GPs and consultants. The patient demographic is diverse and covers a range of conditions which include rehab following elective surgery, rehab following surgery for trauma, osteoarthritis management, rheumatoid arthritis management and all other MSK conditions.
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
