A leading healthcare provider in London is looking for a Band 4 Therapy Assistant to support qualified physiotherapists in rehabilitation efforts. You will assist in group exercise classes, manage appointments, and maintain a tidy department. The ideal candidate will have experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and be organised. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our outpatient physiotherapy team as a Band 4 Therapy Assistant.
The post involves supporting qualified physiotherapists in group exercise classes and seeing patients for individual exercises in our gyms following referrals from physiotherapists.
You should have experience and understanding of musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, or exercise classes, and be eager to develop these skills as a Therapy Assistant.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the department through non-patient-facing tasks, requiring excellent organisational and administrative skills.
This role offers the chance to work with qualified physiotherapists and gain experience rehabilitating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. The department values continuing education and training, and previous postholders have used this experience to secure places in physiotherapy undergraduate courses.
