Marie Curie is the UK's leading end-of-life charity, providing community nursing and hospice care across the country. We support people with terminal illnesses and their loved ones, aiming to improve quality of life at the end of life.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated physiotherapy professional to join our West Midlands Hospice team. The successful candidate will deliver holistic, personalized physiotherapy care tailored to individual needs within the Hospice and community settings.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based physiotherapy treatments, working collaboratively with other healthcare providers to improve the experience of dying, death, and bereavement.

Job Details
  • Full Time: 37.5 hours/week
  • Schedule: Day shifts, Monday to Friday
  • Salary: AFC England Band 6, £37,338 - £44,962 per annum (Pro-rated)
Candidate Requirements
  • HCPC Registered
  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Post-qualification experience in therapeutic, interventional, and supportive treatments
  • Experience in palliative care, preferably in hospice or community settings
  • Understanding of palliative care concepts and holistic needs
  • Ability to develop and evaluate care plans in collaboration with other professionals
  • Strong communication skills and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of local policies, legal, and ethical frameworks
  • Mentorship and supervision skills
