Join our Intermediate Care Team within the Integrated Community Assessment and Support Service (ICASS) at Randolph Wemyss Memorial Hospital.
Applicants should have NHS experience working with adults, especially Older People, with assessment and treatment skills relevant to this group.
Patients are seen at home, in homely settings, or as outpatients. The team focuses on preventing unnecessary admissions, supporting early hospital discharge, and promoting patient independence at home. A degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the HCPC are required, along with evidence of ongoing professional development, involvement in audit and service development, and experience supervising junior staff at Band 6 level.
Occasional work at other community hospital sites may be required. The service offers regular supervision, PDP, and training opportunities.
Travel throughout the area is essential as this is a community-based role. Flexible working hours over 7 days are part of ICASS developments. Public holiday work (excluding Christmas Day and New Year’s Day) is also expected.
Interviews will be conducted in person. For informal inquiries, contact Gayle White, Physiotherapy Team Leader, at 01334 465756.
Note: Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, a different level of criminal records check may be required. If classified as a "regulated role," appointment will be subject to PVG Scheme membership. Further details are available at Disclosure Scotland Changes.
