We are looking for a nurse with extensive knowledge of Endoscopy procedures, JAG accreditation, and proven substantial experience in the area of Endoscopy. The candidate should be flexible, adaptive, and capable of functioning effectively in a highly pressurised environment. Leadership qualities to set an example in caring and professionalism are essential.
This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week over 4 days (Monday – Saturday). The successful candidate will participate in an on-call rota covering evenings, weekends, and public holidays, with possible future adjustments.
The post involves delivering and developing care for adults undergoing Endoscopy procedures, adhering to current JAG Guidelines. The practitioner will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care programs, considering physiological, psychological, and social needs.
The role includes setting and monitoring professional standards, ensuring compliance with Trust policies, leading and coordinating the Endoscopy Team, and managing operational equipment and emergency responses. On-call duties are required.
