Salary: Up to £23.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training, and qualification)

Role Summary

We are seeking a Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy department on a bank basis. This role involves working on an "as and when required" basis to supplement staffing during busy periods and cover staff absences. Shift patterns may vary from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, orthopaedic, or post-surgical conditions.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
  3. Apply therapeutic techniques, exercise programs, manual therapy, and patient education to promote recovery and prevent deterioration.
  4. Collaborate with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  5. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, ward rounds, and discharge planning.
  6. Refer patients to other services such as hydrotherapy, pain management, or community rehabilitation when necessary.
  7. Manage a caseload efficiently, working flexibly across inpatient and outpatient settings as required.
Candidate Requirements
  • BSc (Hons) or MSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
  • Strong understanding of clinical reasoning, assessment techniques, and evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Previous postgraduate MSK experience, preferably in the private sector.
