As a Physiotherapist at our Brighton Hospital and Haywards Heath Hospital, you’ll have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. You also have excellent manual therapy skills, and you’re committed to developing as a practitioner. You’re a confident communicator, skilled at engaging with all kinds of people.

Nuffield Health is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join the team at Brighton Hospital and Haywards Heath Hospitals. You will see a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions from sports to workplace-related injuries and will play a key role in helping our patients achieve, maintain, and recover to the level of health and wellbeing that they aspire to. The role is based in the hospital where you can treat your patients utilizing on-site gym equipment and rehabilitation facilities. You will work within a multidisciplinary team including fitness professionals and clinicians to optimize the health of our patients. You will need to deliver high-quality, effective clinical care. As a Physiotherapist, you will:

• Assess and treat a wide variety of elective orthopedic, genealogical, and general surgery patients in an inpatient setting
• Provide a safe and effective rehabilitation program to optimize their recovery post-surgery
• Deliver excellent clinical care that is evidence-based, safe, effective, caring, well-led, and responsive to our patients’ needs
• Ensure ongoing monitoring of the standard of treatment provided
• Be compliant with all professional, clinical, and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes

As a Physiotherapist, you will have:

• A BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council
• Evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner
• Excellent manual therapy skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with the public and healthcare professionals
• Proficiency in IT and good organizational skills to manage workload effectively
